Grade 5/6 French Project

Title: Ma communauté

Design a pamphlet, a poster or a 3D plan or a PowerPoint presentation to create your real or imaginary community.

Include the following information:

1. Size and title of your community

2. What services are provided in your community?

3. Who are the community helpers and what is their role (Grade 5 – mention 1; Grade 6 – 3 community helpers)

4. Shopping facilities

5. Community –based activities and special events (Grade 5 – one of each; Grade 6 – 2 of each)

6. Include one direction activity

Success Criteria

In order to be successful with this project you will:

- demonstrate a good knowledge of the local community that you will describe by providing information on services and personnel, stores, activities, expressions for giving directions

- organize and express ideas using clear expression and appropriate vocabulary

-your project is neat, easy to read, clear information included

- use interesting pictures and suitable with the topic

- project is well organized, colourful and attractive
