Assignment: Build a contraption that, when dropped from a
substantial height, will protect a raw egg from being broken.
Measure of Success: Egg does not break.
Cracks are acceptable. Contraption may or may not survive the test.
Materials allowed: Plastic straws, popsicle sticks, cotton balls, paper, wood,
feathers, water, pre-made containers (cans, plastic tubs), bubble wrap, wood,
nails, rubber bands, glue, tape, staples, glue gun may be used.
Not allowed: Pillows, food items,
plastic eggs

Class time will be given and some work can be done at home by the student only.
Basic materials are available in the classroom and maybe supplemented
with materials brought from home.
