Looking at Art: M.C. Escher 2

    Staircase for Days

When I see this painting it makes me feel sad for the ragdoll/mummy people. Their faces are emotionless because they are used to it. I think that the ragdoll/mummy things are stuck in a maze/labyrinth that is hexed by magic.  If there was a simile and metaphor for this painting it would be " faces like that are hard to come by" and the metaphor is "climbing the world".  The alliteration would be "stunning stars" and the idiom would be "cross your fingers". P.S. the real name is Relativity.
