What to study:

• Types of government - autocracy, anarchy and democracy
• Levels of Canadian government - Municipal, provincial and federal; two examples of the responsibilities of each level of government; title of leader; current leader's name; title of local representative; where they meet 
• Rights and responsibilites
• Election vocabulary (ballot box, polling station etc)

Skill testing question: What is the name of the movie that stars one of the museum's tanks, oh and Brad Pitt? Write your answer on a slip of paper and hand it in Tuesday morning for a prize.

FLL Update

To date, the hardworking FLL team have:

• built the components for the competition table
• assembled the robot
• chosen "blindness" as their research project topic
• started assembling the table that will be used to test the robot
• downloaded and installed the robotic software

This week's meetings will be: Tuesday 3:30 - 5:00, Wednesday at lunch hour, Thursday 3:30 - 5:00
