Cereal Project: Cereal Concept Planning

Today we examined various cereal boxes, looking at the ingredients lists, nutrition facts, special features and package design. In small groups, we brainstormed possible markets, flavours, shapes and "special features".
We decided that the weight of cereal per box should be between 325 g and 1.45 kg ( or 1450g); there should be between 100 and 260 calories per serving; between 1 and 10 g of protein per serving and that some type(s) of grain (wheat, rice, corn, oats) should be the top ingredient.

Below is a sample of the Cereal Concept Planning Sheet.
